CHRISTMAS DINNER
Shadows and lights play like a gently breeze on the prepared table. There is an empty black sitting quietly on those ancient chairs. There is a warm fire flying in the air when you hold my hand. There is a tear, and a smile, in the glass that destiny gave me. There is a bit of curled anger in my dish. And a drop of sweet gratefulness in my spoon. There is everything I need in your smiling eyes. And everything I will always miss on those empty chairs. Candle's flame is flickering. It's time to serve the dinner. A plate of love, a glass of nostalgia, a pinch of melancholy and happyness as much as I can. This is my Christmas dinner, to share with you my love, because day by day you add light, voice and heart to my life. And to share with who, on those empty chairs, will silently seat once again tonight. |
