Jean Beraud (1849 - 1935) I Parisienne, i Parigini, all'epoca della Belle Epoque, questa è stata la grande passione di Jean Beraud che, nato a San Pietroburgo e trasferitosi a Parigi, ne ha colto ogni sfumatura, ogni umore, ogni fremito di innovazione. Cresciuto nel tardo impressionismo ha però scelto uno stile più vivido che coglie i dettagli di un ambiente e illumina con luci e ombre le notti parigine e le strade affollate di uomini e donne sulla via della modernità ma ancora elegantemente dediti ai piaceri della Ville Lumiere.
